Kim Kelley ~ The Artist

Kim Kelley is a visual artist rooted in rural Oregon, drawing on lived experience, ancestral dialogue, and the quiet mysteries of everyday life. Working primarily in colored pencil, she creates symbolic, atmospheric works centered on bird imagery and subtle narrative motifs.

Her current body of work, The Oracle of Feathers, explores transformation, relationship, and continuity through crowned birds and layered symbolic forms. Rendered in luminous detail with touches of metallic accent, her drawings carry a quiet presence and an intimate sense of depth. Each piece invites reflection, offering space for viewers to find personal meaning within bird and form.

"I invite viewers to engage with themes of transformation and continuity," Kim writes of her series, "finding echoes of their own journey within bird and form."
