Twelfth in The Oracle of Feathers series, this piece features a purple bird crowned in gold, perched on a gnarled branch above a scene of mystery and transformation. A lit candle flickers beside two tall crystals, suggesting clarity, guidance, and the quiet persistence of inner light. Hanging from the branch, a golden skeleton key — a recurring motif — symbolizes access to hidden knowledge and the unlocking of deeper truths. Below, a golden egg lies cracked open, its luminous interior speaking to fragility, emergence, and the preciousness of new beginnings. Nearby, a glass jar with a cork lid holds a lock submerged in water, a symbol of secrets contained beneath the surface and the tension between concealment and revelation. An orb crowns the jar, with another resting beside it, echoing duality, choice, and unseen forces that guide us.
