The Moment of Acceptance🪶

Today I received the email confirming my work was accepted into the show. It wasn’t dramatic, just a simple message that shifted the day in a quiet, noticeable way. You know those moments when something small changes the tone of everything around you? It felt like that.

After reading it, I smiled and nodded my head. I stepped outside for a breather. My Labrador immediately flopped into the grass, the Doodle ran her excited loops, and the Tabby cat watched from behind the patio door glass, offering her usual silent judgment. Their normal routines helped the news settle in a steady, grounded way.

My art will be seen and considered. For today, that’s enough. I’m letting the moment sit before moving on to whatever comes next.

The work can wait a moment. I’m just taking in this small achievement toward my goal and the internal thrill that follows. Time for Tea.
