Today is the Day 🪶

January 7, 2026

“Energy before order. Color before clarity.”

A quiet moment before the leap. My hand on the work, ready to carry it into the world.

Cue the trumpets, pop the champagne cork, release the confetti.

I’m heading to the Pendleton Center for the Arts to deliver my first set of limited‑edition prints, the very first physical pieces of this new chapter I’ve been building quietly, steadily, and with more courage than I realized I had.

Today feels like crossing a line I’ve been walking toward for years. Actually having my physical prints representing my art placed into a gallery has been a quiet dream, a checklist item I’ve thought about over and over.

There’s something surreal about packing artwork that once lived only in my mind, then on my drafting table, and now safely secured, complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA), ready for the gallery display. It feels like preparation finally becoming reality, a moment I’ve imagined so many times that stepping into it feels both familiar and astonishing.

My hands shook a little as I sealed the last sleeve. There was a touch of nervous perspiration too, not fear, just the body’s way of marking the moment. A quiet signal that this matters.

Tonight, I’ll return home with empty hands and a full heart. And tomorrow, I’ll keep going.

And yes… my pencil finally got to check that box. ☑️
